North Point Business Consulting was started by seasoned business owners with the goal of helping other business owners achieve the outcomes they want for their businesses and their lifestyles. We work with clients in Northwest Wisconsin and the greater Midwest.
At North Point Business Consulting (NPBC), we take a two-prong approach to serving our clients. Foremost, we believe it is our mission to help our clients reach their financial dreams.
The first approach is to provide an ongoing advisory team to explore all avenues of a small business owner’s personal, business, and financial objectives. To accomplish this, both NPBC and our clients agree to meet—at a minimum—quarterly. These quarterly meetings will be accompanied by a formal agenda that is determined by the owner’s stated goals, success metrics, issues, and challenges. We take a holistic approach, making sure that personal and family goals are considered, along with the goals of the business. Our success in advising small business stems from our experience, passion to help, and informal style of communication. At NPBC, our experience is broad and includes insurance, wealth management, accounting, tax, and business management. Our success is only measured by the success of our clients.
The second and very important NPBC offering is business owner transition planning. It is our belief that every business, regardless of the stage they are in, needs to plan how they will transition their business. Sometimes life events change unexpectedly, and when they do, the business owner and his or her family need to be prepared to deal with unforeseen circumstances. Planning includes bringing in all the necessary disciplines, which include accounting, legal, banking, insurance, wealth management, estate planning, management consulting, and family succession. Forming and managing this team through the process is essential to ensure that all objectives are being met. At NPBC, we take all of this on for you, with your continual guidance throughout the process.

Paul Rudersdorf is a retired CPA and bank CEO. He has worked with business clients for 40 years, helping them pursue and achieve their financial dreams. During his career, he has worked with business startups, troubled situations, companies rapidly growing, and companies looking to sell their company or acquire another business. Paul has been involved in all aspects of running a business, and has a genuine passion for helping owners succeed.
As a partner with North Point Business Consulting, LLC, he will advise and guide business owners in the pursuit of their business and personal goals.
